Why Yeshua gave His life for you?
23 Yeshua answered him, “If someone loves me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Someone who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words—and the word you are hearing is not my own but that of the Father who sent me.
John 14:23-24
I believe that’s a question worth contemplating. Why does Yahweh allow His Spirit to reveal His character to you? What is it that Yahweh saw in you that prompted Him to send His only begotten Son, Yeshua HaMashiach, on your behalf? Did He permit this to happen so you could continue living as you did before encountering Him? Or did He—perhaps—find you for a purpose far greater and more meaningful?
If you are unable to answer those questions, then who can? Living life with Yeshua is a personal journey that should unfold around you. It ought to positively influence the lives of those you encounter, shaping their experiences and perceptions through your example.
Have you ever heard someone say, “I’m so grateful we met; you truly mean a lot to me”?
Then, you turn to the person who just spoke, left speechless and uncertain of how to respond. That is the moment to humble yourself and give glory to Yahweh, for He bears witness to your purpose. He sent His Son to die for you so that you might be saved, and He desires to use you as a vessel to bless others.
Shalom
